Divided Blue Geometric Solids

This set includes 5 wooden geometric solids painted in blue. A rectangular prism and a hexagonal prism are divided into multiple parts. An undivided rectangular prism, parallelepiped, and hexagonal prism are also included.

An extension to the standard set of ten blue geometric solids introduced in the Primary classroom, these divided solids are used to visualize the spatial relationships of surface area and volume, as well as to introduce early geometry and fraction concepts. Later, they can be used in geometric calculations.

Features

• Dimensions:
  • Rectangular prism: 12 cm x 6 cm x 6 cm.
  • Hexagonal prism: 16 cm x 6.8 cm x 6 cm.
  • Parallelepiped: same base area and perpendicular height as the rectangular prism (and thus the same volume).

Recommended ages: 6–12 years.
